All-Wheel Steer LoadersA300 Why are Bobcat All Wheel Steer Loaders Unique?

Two Different Steering Modes to Match Your Job!
Go from four-wheel "all wheel" steer to skid steer mode with the flip of a switch!

All-Wheel Steer Mode
The new Bobcat all-wheel steer loader is a revolutionary compact loader with four steerable axles. That means less tire wear, less ground disturbance and less operator fatigue.

Skid Steer Mode
Flip a switch, and the loader gives you all the advantages of a compact skid steer loader. It can maneuver in tight spaces, turn within its own length and deliver high performance day in and day out.

Steering Mode Selector Switch
SwitchConveniently located within easy reach from the operator seat, the steering mode selector switch is found on the dash panel inside the cab. The steering mode selector switch makes switching steering modes quick and easy. Depending on job requirements, the operator can change steering modes from all-wheel steer to skid steer simply by bringing the loader to a stop, pressing the steering mode selector switch, and then the "Press to Operate Loader" button. Now he's ready to operate in skid-steer mode. Changing back to all-wheel steer mode can be done in the same way.

Tire & Turf Friendly
All-wheel steer mode is gentle on grass and other surfaces, meaning little or no rework after the main job is done. It's also gentle on its tires, meaning less tire wear and longer tire life for you.

Less Ground Disturbance
In all-wheel steer mode, the loader is gentle on job sites with grass and other established surfaces, where minimal ground disturbance is often a requirement. Tire scuffing is also reduced when working in the all-wheel steer mode. The turf friendly all-wheel steer loader reduces and can even eliminate costly and time-consuming rework or repair on a jobsite after the main job is finished.

Increased Tire Life
Because of the way it turns, it can be costly to operate a skid steer loader on asphalt or other hard surfaces. With the all-wheel steer loader, you could see a huge cost saving in tire replacement costs! Operating in the all-wheel steer mode means less tire wear and longer tire life - both added benefits you get without having to sacrifice the skid steer mode that comes in handy for working in tight, confined areas.
